BE AN INSPIRATIONAL LEADER BY SERVING THE INCREDIBLE!

Transformational Leadership

“Leadership is not about titles, positions, or flow charts. It is about one life influencing another.” John C. Maxwell. Are you a leader who has a courageous vision for yourself as well, or only for your company, for your division?

I have recently worked with two leaders who had a big game in their hand and they were excited to dive into and achieve great transformations and you bet they have done a lot so far and surely they will achieve great results in the future. But when I asked them what is over the horizon for themselves particularly, they went quiet. Their mind was so occupied with the present and a close future that they could not think of any further. It was hard for them to tell me their own vision as a leader, and as a person?

Don’t lose your focus! Your primery focus should be on yourself. Leaders whose identity equals with the organisational vision and goals, are less able to create followers and make an impact especially on the young generations, and they can easily lose themselves on the way.

As a LEADER…..

  • Where are you heading to?
  • How much time do you craft for yourself each week or every each month to think about what is important for you and what impact are you having in the world?
  • What impact do you want have now and in the future?
  • What makes your blood singing?
  • Where is your passion? How much do you hold your passion back? Where do you burn low heat? What does this tell you?

My role is to serve the incredible: seeing the incredible in the people I work with and draw out of them. Even if my clients are playing the big game I must always support and challenge them to play a much bigger game.

And you know what, when I heard from Rich Litvin, it hit me with a huge YES: I prefer to work with executive coaching clients who inspire me rather than I inspire them. And it works magically! The energy boost I get, I can and I do straight away wire it back to them through serving the incredible in them.

If you consider this, then being an Inspirational Leader is not a hard work at all. What you only need to do is to look for inspiration amongst your own people.
